From painting, drawing, and printmaking, to installations, murals, and event decor, I do a bit of everything creative-wise. My body of work combines bright colors, gestural lines, and light, with a touch of sentimental feeling. I find myself especially drawn to the concept of home whether that be a literal place, a feeling, or people within it.
I currently live in Kelowna, BC with my husband (hey Glen!) and our two cats, Leo and Kevin. I still spend lots of time in my beloved home state of Idaho, and road tripping the well-traveled highways in between. I am continually inspired by the layered landscapes and mountains that surround me.

As a deeply sentimental person, I find great joy in creating one of a kind, meaningful custom pieces, from a custom wedding arch that makes your guests squeal to an oil painting of your beloved pet. I think the best art is art that makes you feel something. I especially love when a piece speaks to deep memories of joy and contentment. When I’m not sketching, you can find me renovating my house with my husband and laughing with my family. I love strong coffee and golden hour light. I’ve never met a velvet chair I didn’t like nor a creative medium that I was afraid to try.

A few things I Adore:
A Deeper dive into my ethos.
My professional art journey started a bit by accident (though I’d always dreamed it would become my reality) when I lived in sunny San Diego, CA for a few years after graduating from the University of Idaho. My day job was with the creative team at Anthropologie, then as a merchandiser at Pigment, in tandem working briefly as a nanny and with an event planning company. I spent hours after work drawing with charcoal in my tiny apartment and painting landscapes with a little easel on the floor.
Searching for both a more consistent creative outlet and a way to make money as an artist, I opened an Etsy store. My first listings were a handful of screen prints I made in college – and the one that became popular helped solidify my path as an artist. I had created a print of Idaho’s state silhouette surrounded by layers of pine to take to California with me. My personal desire to take a piece of home with me has resonated with so many people that it turned into a series of 200+ state and country prints of negative space maps with simple borders, each universal enough that the viewer is transported to their own experience of the place that the map represents. (These prints can be found for sale here!)
In my other recent works, home is the common thread as well: my circle paintings were created as a way to explore while I was stuck in home quarantine of the early pandemic days in 2020, my Idaho painting series was made in appreciation of my home state when planning to move away again, and my BC painting series is an homage to my new home.
